Looking to expand my collection of GOG games that I can use to play with friends online that do not require a launcher. We currently play the following games regularly:

* Doom (1993) - GZDoom tied to Brutal Mod using Doomseeker
* Unreal Tournament (1999) - GOG
* Xonotic - Freeware
* Invisigun Reloaded - itch.io
* The King of Fighters 2002/The King of Fighters 2002 Unlimited Match - Fightcade/GOG with Parsec/Retroarch
* surviv.io - Web Browser
* Destiny 2 - Stadia
* Super Bomberman R Online - Stadia

None of us are Steam users. We are looking for games where we can do it all from inside game if possible. Games we tried that did not work out very well:

* Swat 4
* Albion Online
* Krunker

Titan Quest AE - GOG
Here's a useful thread:

DRM-free multiplayer: list of games that actually are 100% DRM-free by Lifthrasil
Unreal Tournament games, including those not on GOG (2003 and 3).

Not GOG games, so skip this message if being available on GOG is a hard requirement ;)

---

Diablo Ⅱ, up to 8 players.
Can be played on LAN, or by direct TCP/IP connection.

Beware that these might no longer be options once the in-progress remaster is out.

---

Warcraft Ⅲ, up to 12 players.
Can be played on LAN.

Beware that only the classic version, no longer available for sale, is DRM-free. The "Reforged" version is tied to Blizzard client.

Thanks. I actually posted on there but it seemed to have come to a halt. Good to revisit the list, though.
