I wish you all the most bestest Christmas ever!

So now you know it will be only downhill from here on, every subsequent Christmas will be worse than the last one, it'll never get better than this. Quite a downer, huh?

Remember the true meaning of Christmas, the message and the meaning of which shall never diminish. For God sent His only Son; He is the Savior for all people. Peace on Earth and good will to man!

Hooyaah: Remember the true meaning of Christmas
Ham?
Seriously? ...and all this time I thought that you were a beefeater.

DoomSooth: You made snowballs from the cream of wheat?
ROFL Thank you; i needed that. (This will be the first year without grandma, and ti seems weird. The laugh was deeply appreciated.)
No, we made snowballs from snow. And washed each other's faces in it. :D
My family (the five of us) would go to downtown Houston to a large bank where a glorious manger-scene backdrop was built for the choir of bank employees who all sang beautiful Christmas carols, with the Little Drummer Boy as a fitting finale.

Then, a trip to the best hot dog place around, James Coney Island, was in order. I recall that there was a young fellow missing half of his right arm; he was so amazing to watch as he prepped the hot dogs. Balancing them on the stump almost faster that ones eyes could follow, he'd have them ready in a flash! And a couple of chili-cheese coneys and bowl of chili would really hit the spot.

After lunch we would then go to another bank where a log cabin was built inside (each year) and hot wassail and gingerbread men were offered to all guests. That made a fine dessert.

Then a trip to a huge department store with animated scenes of elves and toys all the way up to the top floor where Santa was waiting.

On Christmas Eve, we would drive, in neighborhoods where most homes had beautiful light displays, while listening on the radio to a narration of Dickens' A Christmas Carol.

What really made all of this so memorable was being with family and remembering the greatest present. That gift is from God and it's His Son, our Savior!

Merry Christmas, everyone!
Can I just say "Bah humbug".... but still wish everyone the best holiday season they could possibly have?

Yeah, I think I can do that. So... bah humbug.

Happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and for those I missed still I hope you and yours have a wonderful season. And may the best days of your past be the worst days of your future.

Your first line is in the best tradition of the Dickens character so memorably portrayed by the inimitable Alastair Sim in the 1951 Renown UK production of the same name. And to all, a Good Night...
All the best!
Hoo hoo hoo! This year my wish is QUITE BIG: 50 milliard U$D, pretty please.
One year more, one year less
Hapiness for all
And twelve months of health
for seeing us here again

Okay this made me chuckle. Thanks for that.

And I hope you do indeed get a QUITE BIG 50 milliard U$D. And if you fall short, then I'll hope for 49.

Just a reminder that you call it a billion in USA. For me a billion has nine more noughts in it. Also, I do not really wish for this for myself personally, in case that was unclear.

I think I had better shut up now or get a fortnight long vacation from these forums.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE.

Yes I agree, 2024 and the years following will be much worse than the years before.
Too much population, conflict, wars, problems will make this planet much worse off.
Happy Christmas season. Thank you GOG for the giveaway! I have been waiting to play Lost Ruins, no more.
