Something like Disturbed would be nice.
Well, I'm going to recommend full-blown metal, rather than neu-metal, so this isn't even remotely close to Disturbed, but it fits your other criteria :
- Symphony X - "V The New Mythology Suite"
- Adagio - "Dominate"

Other than progressive metal, which the two above bands fall squarely into the category of, classic thrash metal also meets your criteria :
- Anthrax - "Among the Living"
- Nuclear Assault - "Handle With Care"
- Slayer - "South of Heaven" (Just like Disturbed)
- Testament - "The New Order"
