THIS GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED.

Welcome back to Mr.Mumble’s exciting and dizzying hall of curation! He likes a game you may like? Then get in line, friend. You must be this tall to ride. If not, then be on your way! The kiddie rides are over there.

This time one lucky bastard will walk away with a copy of Star Wars: Dark Forces. What’s that? I like Dark Forces better than any of the Jedi Knight games? Yes, I know I’m odd that way. To me it just has the most satisfying first-person pew-pew action where SW is concerned.

I decided to make this giveaway a bit easier than the last one. Way easier. If you want to be qualified as an entrant for this giveaway all I want you to do is draw a picture of one of your favorite games and tell me why you think it’s so great. Don’t worry! Great artistic talent is not required. After all, the winner will be randomly selected. Yet I would appreciate seeing some effort put into it. No stick figures, please.

Get it? Got it? Good! Deadline for this contest will be on Sunday, Nov 19 @ 12PM PST. My only requirement is that you want the game for yourself. No entering on another's behalf or re-gifting of codes. Good luck everyone and have fun!

Mr.Mumbles: No stick figures, please.
Well, that pretty much rules me out. ;)

Not that I would have been in anyway. +1 for the GA - solid classic game.

Dark Forces was the first game I ever played on my spanking new computer in February of 1996. It was a beast. Pentium 100, 1GB hard drive, 2MB video card, and I splurged an extra $400 to double the RAM from 8MB to 16MB! It was the first computer I bought myself, in my second year of university. Dark Forces had a negative impact on my grades :)

When it was released here, it was an insta-buy, and I played through it again recently, so not in, but thanks for the giveaway.
Bumpity-bump.

I know some people don't like that there isn't a save system within levels and its based on a life system instead. I actually think it works pretty well in that it stops me from quick-saving/save-scumming and makes me play more thoughtfully without interrupting the flow of play.
In an adventure or strategy game I am alright with that kind of graphics but not in a shooter, my loss I guess, meaning I am not in.

TLDR: bump
Bump bump, bah-bump. Not many takers, eh?
GTA.

Not exactly one of my favourite games, although it was quite a shock when I first discovered it back in the 90s (freedom to do ANYTHING, no necessity to do the actual missions of the game to have fun while playing it), but it is one which inspired me most for drawing something about it.

Simple picture, yet quite evocative...

For me, I don;t like shooters and I;m not going to ask for a game that I have no plan on playing.

Thank you though for the giveaway. :)

Jack of Blades's Mask from Fable: The Lost Chapters.
It's a game from my childhood. Great RPG with fabulous style and story! You grow from young boy to famous hero or cruel villain and explore dangerous but beautiful world =)
