Enemy Territory: Quake Wars (to give it it's full name) was a 2007 multiplayer game produced by a third party developer using what was then id's best ever engine. I think it was the first id engine game to use megatextures.
It was a class based FPS, Strogg VS Humans focusing on the events that provoked the human retaliation in Quake 2 & 4. There were a variety of vehicles and each map had its own campaign of sorts where one side was attacking and trying to achieve their objectives and the other side was trying to stop them as long as possible.
