It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

I would also like to add that the community here is quite smaller than steam's, and while we are encouraged to not 'self-moderate', I'd say it's easier for a member to get a reputation here from the rest of the community, for the good or for the bad. (And by reputation, I don't mean the number below your user icon avatar.)

PS. If you swear in other languages such as portuguese, I would KNOW. :D

Ah, the beauty of the latin languages. Shit is practically the same in ALL of them.

- Posting a link is sometimes messed up. It's been suggested that you have to unicode first before posting it if it has any special characters but when I tried it, it still didn't work. If you have one that becomes garbage, best bet would be to edit your post and change it from a link to a url. (ie remove the http bit)

1) Like all websites, you can get banned for any reason at any time. Does it happen here? Not that I'm aware of. I went around with a very well known Open Source developer who posted a rather disturbing bigoted slur at me on one of the mail lists and then booted me when I called him out on it. A decade later, I;m still waiting for resolution.

2) They lock such threads here. Usually if a thread gets deleted, you'll get at least one person complaining publicly about it and I haven't seen that here.

3) We have a few ladies here. I'm sure a few of them use such language but I was always taught that it;s not proper to do so in front of one of them.

Having said that, there's no method of ignoring a user here on the forums.

4) I consider myself to be a very impartial person as I feel I can see both (or more) sides of an issue. As to the admin, *shrug*. We really don;t get much interaction from them around here.

5) Quoting system is fine. If you can get it done within 10 minutes of one another and no one else posts during that, the software will actually combine your posts into a single one. So you can hit the reply button on each one instead of having to copy and paste to get your response in all one post.

6) Game developers seems to have no input on the forums. I think some folks have suggested that reviews may be a different story.

Hope this helps

Kind of OT but I've never met anyone who swears as much as my mother and last time I checked she was a lady. :P

Funny thing is, when I was a kid and I swore, she would always want to know where I heard it from.

Well There is an ignore list in the chat (or something like it, I never tried it myself), and there's these add-on scripts thst enable muting some users. tinyE should be well versed in their current state (or if they are operational at all),

Last time I knew, they were all broken. The CSS fix I was using was as well.

Thank you though for the response.

As hard as it may be to believe, not everyone in here hates me and thinks I'm a troll. :P

I never said you are, I just mentioned you MUST be the most active user of these scripts - thus should know if they work :)

I don't use any scripts, (though I would imagine I'm on several) and I never have. I actually frown on anyone who does. It's not hatred or anything like it used to be, I just think it's silly to need a script to ignore someone.
