Is there a way to download games from my account without using galaxy, please? My mac seems too old to support it or even handle the required version of OSX...

I must get a Baldurs' Gate 1 fix soon or I will begin raging :-)

Yes there is. They call them "offline backup game installers."

The links for the offline installers should be on the game's page in your library, right under the Galaxy download button.

1. Hover over your username at the top
2. Click Games
3. Click on the desired game to open it's panel
4. Select System -> Mac (underneath the game name)
5. Ignore the large blue "Download And Install Now" button and underneath that click on the game name to download a .dmg or .pkg file (you may have to click on "Download Offline Backup Game Installers" drop-down box for the first time)
