tinyE: Is there anything Tesla doesn't build!? :P
I'm really looking forward to their Carless Driver!
Tesla Studios and Tesla don't have anything in common though - except building the future and similar names.

At least the namesake is finally getting his due.

DreamedArtist: I had a friend who overclocked that cpu to 5ghz... I never seen something have so much single thread power in my life. it wrecked my 3770k at the time in a lot of older things through the roof.
That's crazy. Just watercooled (assume air is right out) or something more exotic?
watercooled all the way man. custom water cool not the closed loop stuff. but yeah its amazing raw power.
PC, three different ones. Two are stationary, one I bring with me when travelling. All are old (8½ - 11years).
Right now I'm playing my GOG games on antique hardware:

Unfortunately, a lot of games that should work on old PC's are designed to only work on newer PC's:

Eh, you can read that. It should suffice.

I mostly play on my PC (i5-4570, Geforce 960) and PS3 Slim
3 different PCs

1 for work, 2 for gaming

Work: Surface Book - i5 / 8gb Ram / 128gb ssd

Gaming Desktop: i5-3570k / R9 390 @ 8gb / 24gb Ram / 240gb ssd (primary) / ~11tb additional drives

Gaming Laptop: Alienware 15 R3 / i7-7700HQ / GTX 1070 @ 8gb / 16gb Ram / 128gb ssd (primary) / 1tb hdd (secondary)

These modern builds seem to handle the classic games just fine with the right tools and tweaks. I very rarely find a classic game that will not run properly. And those are usually the older ones on Steam or Origin, since they are not handled the same way as on GoG. But even then, I can fix them most of the time.

I listed the work one, mainly because I still do play some games on it. Touch screen comes in handy for certain games.
