I would like an option to use the original desktop icons instead of the gog style circle icons. To me it's easier to tell what they are in the original icons. I know some games have it in the folders if you dig but I think an option would be better and more easier. Anyone agree?

Some games do come with the OG icons, others don't. It's a lottery, but you're likely to be disappointed since most of them are 16 x 16, rather than the now standard scalable sizes.

I do enjoy putting icons in a folder and use large icon settings so the feeling of oldskool cd dvd cases is retained.....
( on a sidenote that is why i really dig the new steam settings )
The mixture of gog and steam icons i have there is sometimes pretty easthetic

but yea i could agree with another option, for example have the icons we are used too as a goodies download
