In an article about best Cyberpunk games, not only is there no GoG links in spite the majority being on GoG, but Syndicate Wars which isn't available on Steam gets a wiki link.

Meh.
HOW DARE YOU CONSIDER COMPETITION!? We want everything in a single place!
You know what? I'm deleting my GOG account. (Joking, of course)

This is a thing many other non-videogame related sites do with Amazon. They don't even consider you can buy what you need in a store near you: let's favour the tax evading giant for a tiny tiny cut of the profit!

Well in fairness, some of us don't have a store near us. :P
Ouch. I'll give them a pass though since they listed Blade Runner second, even though imo any such list should start with it. Still, kinda scummy pcgamer...
edit: Nevermind.

True, true. Still, there are lots of honest on-line alternatives, a simple search on Google is enough. I had some history with Amazon "victims", something like disappearing with the money after their products have been sold or not giving refunds to good they have "lost"... plus, the government is after them for millions upon millions of € in unpaid taxes, but they are very elusive.
Basically, I like Amazon as I like Steam. Which means not at all.

Amazon us currently under attack by a juvenile nut job over here, so I am feeling more sympathetic to them than normal. :P

The enemies of my enemies are my allies.

I have done that before. Company bias is not covered the IPSO remit.

That's why I removed my suggestion. Rather surprised actually. Ethics means different things to different folks. Looks like they're move concerned about child abuse which while an important topic, it is just a small part of media ethics.

My local government's ethics policy only concerns gifts. One of the local politicians got outed a few years ago when she got caught quoting their ethics policy but yet when shown what she was quoted wasn;t actually in the policy, everyone ignored the issue.

Ethics is so much fun.....

Why? Seeing details about Amazon and their practices makes me feel revulsion for them.

what's messed up is when you said this my first reaction was, "Again?"
Well, they advertised the current weekly sale just three days ago...
