Ziemowiterkens: Why does it have to have a "politically correct" name if the description is accurate?
drealmer7: I think the idea is that it's a bit disparaging when said / it has a bit of a negative connotation, as if it's less than a real game because of what it is being called or somesuch, and the OP is looking for something that doesn't have that feel, and just chose poor wording with "politically correct" because they thought it was clever or somesuch.

Its used sometimes to describe sort of sandbox point and click adventure-ish game thingies but I never picked up on the disparaging thing.
But the stick - sometimes I grab the wrong end of it. :)
