Exile on pain street.

Dead in Vinland is now available for pre-order, DRM-free on GOG.com.
Exiled from your village. A family disgraced. No time for despair, though. Time to roll up your sleeves and make a new home for yourselves on this strange island. Survive the hardships, manage everyday tasks, explore, interact with its curious inhabitants and face a savage foe. RPG mechanics meet non-linear storytelling in a dramatic tale shaped by your own harsh decisions.
Looks great, but when does it release?
Edit: Nevermind, I'm stupid...

Will probably get it this weekend :)
Scratch that, I just bought it. :)

This looks really interesting. I'll be keeping my eye on it.
Aaaaaand into the wishlist it goes. :p
Interesting. Dead in Bermuda should have its GOG version, too.

Came here to say this...I am such a franchise whore that I won't get this until I get a gog version of DEAD IN BERMUDA...Which I actually got for free via Origin...I'd still buy a gog version though as DRM-free is much more valuable to me than free!

Yep, from the store page:

DEAD IN VINLAND is the second installment in the “Dead In…” universe, after DEAD IN BERMUDA. The two games are standalones, but you’ll learn a bit more about the secrets behind these strange islands and the general background in each game of the series.

Well, Dead in Bermuda is offered as a free game with Origin, so you can give it a go right now if you want; though I'd still buy it on gog as DRM free games are better than Free DRM'd games! ;)

Thank you for the info!
Looks pretty interesting!

Anyone with experience with the game (has it released elsewhere yet or is 12th April the actual game release?) or series have impressions?

Does the management stuff get tedious or is it pretty fun to organize your little camp? Tons of micromanagement, or does it go quickly and there's enough other stuff going on that you never get bogged down in the nitty gritty?

Would love to know - looks like something worth playing if it isn't too tedious.

For some "perspective" - I loved Thea and really enjoyed Don't Starve. I found even WATCHING Cosmonautica to be a painful boring experience LOL.
