Profile Page doesn't take game privacy setting into account.

I would like it if the profile page took into account other privacy settings. As it is now the profile page lists Recently Played Games as well as Recent Achievements, even when the games list is set to private. Not much of a point to hiding your smutty games when the achievements or the fact that you're playing it right now are out there on the public profile that you still might want to share with the world since it does allow you to remove particular entries.

Maybe the windows for recently played games or recent achievements can get a dropdown menu that let you hide them altogether as well? Perhaps even more hiding options, for example when you hide the stats of one game there is the usual hide option in addition to a choice like: "Hide all achievements / stats for this game in the future."

Edit: Fixed up a shoddily created and worded example image for this:

Issue: Current profile overview is slow, doesn't appear to be way to dismiss some cards, they should probably truncate into monthly divisions.

Reporter: zhaodongyue (https://www.gog.com/forum/general_zh/yonghudangan_90e54/post2)
Description: Chinese version of navbar showed two Activity feed in a row, and no Your profile

All added.

@Swampland: I put yours under a general "expand privacy and general settings" tag with a link to your post.

zeogold: You should be able to access profiles from your friendlist. Can't do that at the moment.
wow, that's pathetic that something this simple/basic is not there

WOO, gog incompetence!
Suggestion: add "view profile" on find request options. Add "view profile" to options of each person on chat page.

Also, games hidden in our libraries should be hidden in our profile games list. Including achievements, milestones and play time.

Description:
People who set their profile/activity to private still show up on other people's profiles under "friends' activity".
The only ways to prevent this, is to set your own profile to "only me" or to unfriend those people.

I'm pretty sure this is by design, and not a bug.

You can do that by hovering the cursor over your friend's avatar or name, and a dropdown should appear that will let you select their profile, wishlist, or send them a message.
I find the activity feed cluttered, I would like a way to sort it better, both as a user and as someone visiting a profile

for personal profile a way to control what the activity feed displays: hide on/off for reviews, thresholds, achievements, etc.

for visiting a way to sort the profile feed, ex. only reviews, achievements, forum posts etc.

right now its a mess and not something i wish to look at much

That doesn't work actually in certain parts of the site. It seems to only work in the forum and inside the profile itself, but here: https://www.gog.com/account/friends it doesn't nor is it located under the drop down arrow. You can't even access them from friends button in the nav bar.

https://www.gog.com/account/friends should probably just be removed and they should add the ability to remove friends from the profile friends tab.
Suggestion: filtering option when browsing someone's game list (mutual games, operating system, multiplayer/co-op)

Ah, right, forgot that the profile friend list and the account friend manager are separate. Discreetly combining the functionality of the two on the profile page would work. And instead of just different sorting options, GOG should also include the 'search all friends' just like the search field on the Personalize page, and a field to search for users to invite by username / email.

Type: Feature
Description: Ability to see own profile as-if viewed by friends, or as-if viewed by unaffiliated GOG users. I've seen this one suggested at least once in one of the feedback threads, but no one has mentioned it in this thread and it's not in the opening post's list at this time. Currently, you can change your privacy settings, but there's no good way to see what impact that has on what other people see, because you can always see all the details about yourself, regardless of your privacy settings. It'd be nice if there was an easy way for a user to load his/her own profile and see only the things that his/her friends would see; likewise a way to see only the things that unaffiliated (non-self non-friends) see. Users could use this to verify that their chosen privacy settings hide that which they want hidden and reveal that which they want shared.
Issue: View profile link from wishlist dropdown (e.g. https://www.gog.com/u/mike_cesara/wishlist) redirects to https://www.gog.com/u/
How do we turn off showing if we are "online" or not to the public?

If we can't do this right now, this needs to be fixed asap! :(
