When Gog refers to Marketing communication, it is the same as it was now (promo discounts & newsletter) or something new?

I had all of the boxes on the "Subscription" page unticked. After claiming the free game, "Promotions and hot deals" was ticked. I have unticked it again and the game is still in my library and I haven't received any emails off gog (besides the one to say the game was added to my library). Obviously can't say for certain that there's nothing else I haven't found out about yet though.

I had all my boxes unticked and then unticked the promotions button and never got the game after the front page said I would.

So maybe wait to untick the box until after the game is in your library.
