Why did you find Prison Architect so distasteful? I haven't played it myself and the genre isn't really one I play often but seems like cartoon graphics with possibly some off color humor. Would you prefer Dungeon Architect with a comically evil dungeon lord torturing fantasy creatures a la Dungeon Keeper?

I occasionally want to play these types of games but I generally suck at them and get quite frustrated. I did like playing Dino Park Tycoon at school during computer class though.

There could be a few reasons.

A: Perhaps Prison Architect depicts things as the awful "For Profit" system largely in use in the United States rather than the rehabilitative prisons of Scandinavia.
B: Perhaps they just find the whole theming skeevy or it fills them with unease. This is the same reason why I'd want a graphical overhaul of Binding Of Issac to remove the scatological, biological, and generally gross themes.
C: Former incarceration, so they find the whole theming disrespectful.
D: Maybe they've found the practices of the Prison Architect publisher/devteam to be less than on the up. I feel like I recall some manner of drama regarding them.
