I have been playing Ghost of a Tale and I'm near ending now. Funny thing is, I will certain dream funnilly tonight, so if you guys have nice, non scary game for me to play - it would be good recommendation.
Brothers: a tale of two sons.
Stardew Valley is a nice, beautiful and relaxing game. You can set your own pace by not setting up too much work for yourself to finish each day :)
FEZ. There's no time obligation, unlike Stardew. It's beautiful, bright, and deep.
SOMA. very nice and relaxing. :)
Brothers is really fantastic. I don't know if it is relaxing enough, especially near the end, but it is totally worth it.
I'm playing The Witness at the moment and finding it very relaxing and peaceful. Some of the puzzles can be a bit frustrating though.
King's Quest 6

Doom and Quake. Especially the latter. Shooting evil things plus good rock music = very relaxing!
Race the Sun with Sunrise DLC.

Chuchel.

Botanicula.

Abzu.

Dream.
ABZU

It's extremely relaxing, but also very short. 2 to 3 hours of play time, tops.

Edit: Damn ninja'd. Also +1 for Stardew Valley.

Apparently, we just got a stealth release today that looks like it might fit the bill:
Solo

Cambrey: Brothers: a tale of two sons.
I would not call it scary, but not exactly family friendly either... perhaps not something for a relaxing afternoon.

OP, what about some good old REM sleep for relaxation and procedurally generated dreams?

If you have to stay awake, well, Transport Tycoon Deluxe always relaxes me... you can try OpenTTD these days, it's improved a bit on the classic recipe, but kept all the main ingredients.
