RafaelLVX: I'm all for sex-themed games, but this one doesn't look very good. Ugly interface. This predates Macromedia Flash by a few years I think, but it does look like a Flash game (I like some Flash games like Neo Scavenger, but not many).

Reviews are very extreme so far.

pbaggers: Might instead be Macromedia Director. Lots of mid-90s multimedia CD-ROMs and Myst clones were made in it - including a few gems like The Dark Eye, Cosmology of Kyoto and Total Distortion. If Lula was built using that software and has been made to run on modern OS's, then maybe we'll see those other games I mentioned.
Well, now that you mentioned that, I recall many games from that era with similar Flash-like interfaces and graphics (ironically the ones I knew were all geared toward children).

The Dark Eye you cited not related to the German RPG Das Schwarze Auge I presume?

No, it's that Edgar Allen Poe themed Myst-like with the creepy stop-motion people. It's supposed to be amazing. I've read somewhere that Night Dive is interested in acquiring the rights for a digital release.

Might as drop a few technical details too, and mention that Director ran at fixed resolutions and didn't use vector graphics like Flash does. A lot of these "cd-roms" also relied on Quicktime for movie sequences - and there may have been a few that only had 16-bit executables.

Silly, trashy game, awful sense of humor, but could be fun in a weird way.

Must-buy for gamers who like the way Carsten Wieland draws those sex bunnies (I may not be a man of perfect taste, but I do actually kinda like them :)).

This has always been a pain to run on modern systems, thanks a lot for this resurrection. If the original german language version is added (original language comes off even a bit more trashy and seedy IMO), I'll buy it instantly - just for the hell of it..

About the technical difficulties regarding that version I read about here in the forum: Shouldn't it be just doing everything again step by step you did for the english version, just using the german CD? Or ist it somehow more difficult?

There were more adult-themed games containing Wieland's work I haven't seen mentioned here (but those were clearly x-rated material, not like this 14+ game): Patti Pain's Bondage Poker (uncensored) / Ibiza Comic Poker (uncensored)/ Inside Chessie (aka Inside Lula).

I know there will not really be a chance to see them on gog... a pity, you can't see any videos on Win 10, if you try to run them now. And they seem to be too sleazy to get enough attention by retro gamers... nothing on the internet about those problems.
On schote.biz, there is a downloadable patch to fully convert the english GOG version of LULA - SEXY EMPIRE to original german version WET - SEXY EMPIRE incl. speech/videos/everyhing. ;)
I'll just go get the lube!

Heating lube!
Cooling lube!
Regular lube!

and don't forget the CHOC SAUCE!

They transcoded the videofiles from Indeo 4.1 to MJPG and added some DirectX wrapper and DirectX 9 to the installer.
Look at the screenshots for further details. I picked the Intro video as example.
