Run, jump, ground pound, slide and ride through seven unique worlds in Nikoderiko: The Magical World – now available on GOG!

Join Niko and Luna on a journey to save a magical island from the evil Baron Grimbald in Nikoderiko: The Magical World, a charming platforming game! Play on your own, or burst into this vibrant adventure together with a friend in couch co-op.

Now on GOG!
Besides Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree and Nikoderiko here Knights Peak also is co-publishing Tempest Rising...
I smell Crash Bandicoot, but I'm not sure I see Crash Bandicoot. Maybe that's just Rayman and I've never drank of that.

Either way, nice to see some legitimate funny animal games here.
Very happy to see this announcement. The game looks great
Fantastic, got it as soon as it became available, thanks to the Dev/Publisher for making it happen.
Great!
Looks nice, adding to the cart.
Wishlisted, will probably get the game this weekend. :)
high rated
For those of you who don't know, this is supposed to be a spiritual successor to Rare's original Donkey Kong Country games. I bought it immediately.
The game looks great. Goodyear addition to GOG's library
Oof, a little more pricey than I was expecting, but I have enough in my wallet and this one is worth supporting.

This game really is essentially what happens when you stick Donkey Kong Country, Crash Bandicoot and Rayman Origins together in a blender, but it's really quite polished. Far more polished than most games of this ilk outside of the Nintendo ecosystem, I can wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone who likes platformers at all.
Bound to happen, I guess. People ripping off everything from when time was good, that had talented folk in abundance.

.....wtf happened!???

lol
The esthetic--animal characters in a colorful world that harks back to platformers of yore--the suggestion that it's a platformer, and the mention in the comments that it's a spiritual successor to Donkey Kong immediately appeal to me. Well, except the difficulty part of Donkey Kong; the Gameboy games were devilishly hard. To the wishlist it goes.

Reminds me more of Lion King than anything else.

The game is only particularly difficult if you try to go for 100% completion, it's pretty fair overall.
Certainly is copying Retro's version of Donkey Kong Country as much as possible. But maybe it's good. I wish it had a demo because with platformers knowing how the controls feel is important.

How is it like Rayman Origins?

Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree is tagged as story rich. Is that true?
