Noita is now available, DRM-free.

Noita is a magical action roguelite set in a world where every pixel is physically simulated. Fight, explore, melt, burn, freeze and evaporate your way through the procedurally generated world using spells you've created yourself.

Note: This game is currently in development. See the FAQ to learn more about games in development, and check out the forums to find more information and to stay in touch with the community.

Loger13: But such games exist. For example Red Faction
IIRC, Red Faction (like, I presume, most such games) had its limits.

Forgive me if my memory is off here, as it's been since Red Faction was released that I've played it - but I have recollection of being unable to damage or destroy a metal "bridge" in one place - but *was* able to destroy the surrounding land "supporting" it, leaving the bridge to "float" in mid-air (it didn't fall).

As I already said, "absolute interactivity is still technically complex", but to get a level of interactivity is much higher than what is in games now we can already. And I gave an example of games where the necessary game mechanics is exist. Yes, in some cases it is very limited (such as in TFU), but they were implemented, and can be implemented in games, including in a much expanded form.

Oh, I didn't watch the trailer, I was looking at the screen shots.

And there it is! Big as life! :D
"Noita" is "a witch" in Finnish.

That's all I had to say about this game. Thanks and bye.

At first glance, the visual style isn't that appealing, but the developer's pedigree and the whole concept makes it pretty intriguing, I think I'll have to pick this up.
I really enjoyed the Swapper so I will keep an eye on this one.

Also "those" (plural partitive of "tuo").

Interesting concept, but the graphics...

Hideous looking game.
I don't get the griping about the graphcs. Unlike so many titles that needlesly emulate 8-16 bit aesthetics (with or without post effects) the main mechanic of this game revolves around the graphics.
Looks gorgeous, but replaying the same levels over and over and re-learning skills over and over when you die is too repetitive for me, I'll most likely get this when it's on a deep sale, though if this is your thing, then you should throw money at these guys as they deserve it, in spite of my dislike for permadeath I hope this game's a success!

Oh crap, I thought this is not coming on GoG and already purchased it on Humble. Whatever.
Every single pixel is physically simulated. If it hadn't those pixelated graphics, you'd probably be complaining about bad performance and optimization.
In any case, the game is funny to play.
wow, the art looks marvelous, while im not into roguelites im tempted on this one
