You,umm like to point that fact/fiction out or did I misread the part that says achievements?

Will there be a message if my system can't handle the game?

BoBFiSh: Noticed one review out for it so far:

i_hope_you_rot: Meh . Paid review .
If that's how they found the game (and metacritic seems to have similarly scored reviews) so be it, but I wouldn't go and state, without evidence, that it is a "paid for" review.

He made a one star review stating the same fact even though its not true.

Gamewatcher/Strategyinformer reviews have been very fishy since they gave high grade to Total War: Rome 2 - 8.0 grade - which was a broken pile of shit on release.
This can't be good, my computer shuts down on me when I'm playing this game.

I'll be honest I never did play Total War Rome 2 so I couldn't comment on its state at launch. Looking at reviews at that same time period for Total War seemed to have a similar spread of positives as Gamewatcher though, including Destructoid, Escapist and Eurogamer.

I wouldn't advocate using review sites as a sole means of assessing a game but I also can't get behind this "paid review" mentality without some good ole solid evidence =)

In the end, I think long as you take a review as just another opinion that's the safest way of using them.

From other steam threads, there may be an issue with GTX cards. Or at least I see folks complaining about such.

Yes I saw that.I still don't see where the achievements section is that you claim is true. Can you answer that question?

There are achievements even though they are not listed for some reason.
The game looks good, but unfortunately it seems to lack a proper simulation engine. And that for a price of $50 and perhaps another $50 for some map packs... quite disappointing.

For some reason the game will shut my computer down if I try to play any of the modes. Don't know why yet
