Under the domes.

UPDATE: Looking for some cool extras? You can now get the Deluxe Upgrade Pack or go for the Season Pass, if you fancy.

Surviving Mars, is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com.
It's hard to call this place "the red planet" anymore. Thanks to some ingenious work on the infrastructure, the retro-futuristic settlements are ticking away happily, providing not only sustenance but also plenty of quality entertainment to your colonists. Except when a dust devil hits. Or a meteor shower. Or when a bunch of mysterious alien spheres start hovering outside the domes. Time to put those crisis management skills to good use.

Grab the Deluxe Edition for the Digital Art Book, a wallpaper, and several in-game rewards, or go for the First Colony Edition which also includes the game's Season Pass.

Looking forward to buy the complete edition.

I'm about 2 hours into my game. I can't seem to be able to connect pipes between suppliers and consumer. The game is slow going, but it's a marathon type game. The music is good so far. Graphics aren't awesome but pleasant enough. The shadows are impressive as they follow the sun and shadow length changes constantly. The controls are a bit cumbersome always going into menus. Perhaps that will change with more game exposure.

1 : I just figured out connections for the pipes. I needed to change my display options in the main menu. Now i can see the onscreen objects clearer and what connection points are.

2 : I do not see an option to remove pipes once you placed them though.

Paradox published games - Best wait for a (more) complete edition.

Tsokev: I purchased first colony too. There is only OST to download, also missing radio station from game, which should be included(Quantum Sonics)!

SeduceMePlz: Have you tried refreshing your account?

https://www.gog.com/account/refresh
It worked. Thanks!
I do not understand the lack of specific forum for surviving mars.
Nor the complete absence of answer or communication on the gog specific patch.
Is this a wish from the game editor?

That season pass is expensive stuff.
Help me understand why Paradox Interactive games released on gog.com rarely have an upgrade path to the different versions of the game? Why does PI have three different tiers of content that locks the consumer into a single tier when purchasing from gog.com?

Does anyone know if the GOG version comes with the Paradox Launcher?

I don't know what the paradox launcher is, but I'm not seeing anything out of the ordinary. The game file is named "MarsGOG.exe". When started, it's the only process/task visible in the task manager.

Thank you, seems the one on the official site makes you install a front end software called Paradox Launcher. It looks like it allows you to launch other games they release. I didn't want to install that type of system.

No, nothing like that. The game does phone home for the news and there's a paradox account login button present (in a panel of about 10 more buttons) but it doesn't nag or anything.

Does Paradox itself know there is a GoG version? :)

I'm wondering about this as well.

I played this game for a bit, not worth the money they ask for. it would be fine if it was around 15$.

there's really not much to it. i guess it was cut into pieces to sell as DLC in the future.

and i'm not even talking about bugs and the fact that it should've been an early access game.

Heh, color me surprised.

This is why we can't have nice things, Paradox...

(I learned that lesson on CK2. Never again)
