pekoeblaze: Yeah, although I ran into problems with some browsers not working with XP any more and some Youtube videos not playing - and, on a side-note I'm glad that I use this site for games (because Steam literally "stopped supporting" XP, even though it worked perfectly fine with XP during the 2000s...) - I guess I got lucky with internet safety back when I was using XP as my main computer's OS.

Space is always the thing though. I mean, I've still got another old XP computer (with a Linux Mint dual-boot) as well as my main PC, but I don't really have room for any extra computers than this. (Edit: But, yes, Windows XP was a really cool OS although - only upgrading to it in 2006, I still used the classic Windows 98-style theme with it LOL!!!!)
About 2 years ago I had a second PC from my neighbor here that had WinXP on it. I can now safely say that GoG installers work on XP without any problems. I've played some Soldier of Fortune and some other games on it until the GPU crapped out :D

Cool :) I was using windows XP when I first started using this site in 2015, and it's cool to hear that the installers still work with XP as recently as a couple of years ago. Sorry to hear about the GPU though.
The game got updated but version 1.9.2. is 4.4 GB and 1.9.3.1 is like 2 GB. Plus, Galaxy refuses to download the installer. There must be something wrong....

Hey Atreyu666.

I unfortunately don't get notified on responses to this forum thread, so apologies for not seeing this until now!

I was able to further optimise the game which has reduced the download and install size dramatically - which explains the drop you're seeing.

The installer appears to be working on my end (Windows), are you still having this issues? If so, please let me know if you're having issues on Windows or Mac GOG Galaxy and I'll look further into it.

Cheers,

Andrew
