I've been watching the AMC series TURN -- which I highly suggest to anyone interested in the American Revolution or fans of spy stories -- and it's got me to wanting to play games set during the Revolutionary War (US).

I would like to find an RPG but don't expect that to happen... maybe some war games and / or Mount & Blade mods?

Any games, ideas, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Many thanks.

For wargames you could take a look at Birth of America, Birth of America 2, or For Liberty!

Europa Universalis 4 has both a ARW start and a DLC specific to early America. Haven't tried either one, though.

Basically the Cossacks games but with a colonial American setting.

As to EU4 mentioned above, I believe EU3 ight also have a similar start point, but goes "complete" rather a lot cheaper.

Just about everyone I know has already been said but Ultimate Admiral: Age of Sail should be coming out soon in 2020 and is a tactical war-game from the creators of the Ultimate General series set amidst the naval campaigns in period of the American Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars.

Found an older Mount & Blade Warband mod 1776 American Revolution that looks fun. Think it's been resurrected into a new mod but forget the name. War of Independence mod? Yeah, just watched the American Revolution mod v3 for Total War Empire. Looks great.

Keep hoping someone will make (or has made) a full Revolutionary War RPG akin to something like Kingdom Come Deliverance... even on a much smaller scale... or even 2D
