Hello!

Rick May, the voice actor who did Peppy Hare in Starfox 64 has passed away. He first got a stroke, and then passed away after getting COVID-19 at a nursing home. He did the famous "do a barrel roll" line. He also voiced Genghis Khan in Age of Empires 2.

My condolences to his friends and family. Rest well, Rick.

I saw a few server tributes to him using the Soldier in Team Fortress 2. It was depressing when I learned years ago about his health issues.

Games like TF2 won't be the same without new lines from him but at least he leaves behind some memorable work either way.

I heard about this, but related to Team Fortress 2. Apparently he was also the voice actor for the TF2 Soldier class.

I was wondering why some TF2 player had a nickname "RIP Rick May" or something, and googled for it who the f is "Rick May". Oh...
