Which setup are you running? Is it Galaxy or a game?
Weird that you were able to buy that here. GOG doesn't even sell Boob Fondler VR!

OK...

Trying to bind "wasd and stuff" to old shooter. WASD became the default since early 2000 so it's an earlier game. Trying to run setup to do it instead of in-game, so it's from 1997 or earlier. Which suggests a DOSBox game. "and stuff" suggests other things like mouse look. Sounds like a Build game. Duke Nukem is gone, Shadow Warrior is free, and Redneck Rampage is not so popular. I'm guessing... Blood.

You can't run the Blood setup.exe file direcly since it's meant for DOS. Use DOSBox or find a fan-made port.

What did I win?

OK, the answer is: Yes.

The game already comes with DOSBOX, it's used to run the game.

For Rednceck Rampage, GOG already creates shortcuts to Setup in the game's Progams folder. It's called "Settings". Or you can run it by double clicking "Launch Settings" in the game folder. Just run it and you're good.

For Blood, check if such a shortcut exists. If yes, you're good. If not, look for a DOSBOX folder. Find DOSBox.exe. If you need more help there, let me know. It might be a bit complicated and I don't want to start if the shortcut is just there.

EDIT:
And I just installed Blood and "Launch Settings" is there too. So, just run it.

And here we can see all your experience with mindfuck and other esoteric languages finally paying off. xD
thank you and i am sorry for being vague
Oh, and DOSbox has an inbult keymapper. Use it to set controls how you want.
setup.exe of what?

if it's 32 bit setup launcher try to open task manager, detail tab, right click on setup.exe and select analyze wait chain; check it

don't use compatibility mode

edit: you are too vague...
