Unsolicited emails and newsletters without option to unsubscribe are against the EU ePrivacy directive.

I don't even use Windows any more and there is no Gog Galaxy for Linux.

This is pathetic. The only reason I still log in to gog.com is to claim the Prime Gaming keys.

It's all unticked. I'm still receiving this spam.
Why post on this forum though? No forum user can solve this problem. Unless it's just to rant.

They are all unchecked, still receiving these stupid emails.

Actually no, just because I installed it at some point doesn't mean I'm using it.

I guess I'll flag it as spam, since it basically is.
Same for me too, I've not opted into getting these emails. I update Galaxy on the rare occasion I decide to run it. I don't want e-mails nagging about it.

Because maybe one of the regulars knows what hoops to jump through to turn them off before we add more load to their tech support department.

Absolutely true. But I based my reply on the tone of the OP which was not asking for help.

You are right. I'm not looking for help, I'm venting.
Thanks for trying anyway.

I just think it's not ok that they send me this nonsense after I went out of my way to disable all communications. Asking me to install a new version of an application I don't use is marketing I didn't sign up for. Putting shit like "ACTION NEEDED" in the subject only.makes it more scummy. And then the email isn't even sent from @gog.com but by some shitty mass mail service and the links in the email also go through some tracking URL.

And looking through the Forum, it appears I'm not the only one bothered by this.

If there's any way of disabling this email I'd appreciate it.
This problem is also impossible to search for since it has "update" and "email" in the search terms.
