Just got this bundle. I was just waiting to get payed to get it. Got the previous ones also. So far I was not disappointed. No huge bestsellers but there are some nice books in there.

I actually went and bought a couple more books from Amazon to complete the ones from the bundles, where for example a bundle would contain only the first 2 books from a trilogy.

Wow, nice catch. I've updated the first post to reflect the current state of affairs ^^.

They have added a few bonus stories to the bundle and extended its runtime to March 22.
Now it got even nicer. :)

Zero interest in the latest bundle...

Even I, as a woman, looked at the covers and thought "romance, blech". Oh well, a lot of peeps like this stuff but then 50 got way, way too much press.

Funnily, romance is the only context in which I still really care for stories.

Sadly, these books don't seem like they're dealing with the kind of love story I enjoy. Can't help tipping my hat to Melissa Foster for calling her protagonist's handsome husband Beau, though.

The books in this one seem to have quite a few reviews and their Goodreads score is between 3.5/5 and 4/5... Considering that, for comparison, Solaris, an absolute all-time favorite of mine, is a 3.91/5 there, I think I'll pick these up out of pure curiosity...

Now I'm not familiar with goodreads, but that's not how user reviews usually work!

I really like that book, too. Have you seen the Tarkovsky movie?

They don't seem outright bad or completely obscure. Good enough for me ;P.
Besides - I approach books like I do games: I like some genres more than others but I'll try ANYTHING. So far I haven't really read any romance novels, so I might as well give this a whirl.
Hey - at least it HAS to be a better read than the so-called "noir" novels from groupees some genius linked to here months ago ;P... They were, taken all together, worth the dollar I've spent on them... though just barely.

Nope. I don't think there is even a good way to make this book into a movie... and besides - it's really dear to me, so I wouldn't want to confront my own imagination with a director's vision... Silly, I know.

Surely the best way to approach the matter, but who has the time...
