One thing that I really dislike about gog is the time I spend on the decision on whether to buy a game on gog or another platform due to missing information. It sometimes takes me hours, rarely even days, to find out what I do have to expect from a game in relation to its multiplayer capabilities. Normally supporting gog would be a no-brainer, but I often find myself just buying a game on steam to avoid the stress to decide where to buy the game.

When I buy an DRM-free game I want to know the following stuff:

- What kind of Coop is it (local vs.online).
- Does the online-coop/multiplayer feature cross-play?
- Most important fact: What kind of access to online-multiplayer is used in the game? Is the multiplayer only accessible through the galaxy client or can I use it directly through the game?

There is a Thread out there with a list of games that do not need galaxy, but it is not complete. When there is information missing on the store-page nobody knows if that is a sign of needing galaxy or not or only needing galaxy for all kinds of connections, while there is still an option to directly connect without galaxy etc.

I just realized that I had to write this down, since I am pissed about this every fucking sale until I say "fuck it" I'll go steam.
