I heard Illumination Entertainment will collaborate with Nintendo to make new live action film after big failure of Super Mario Bros.(1993) than Sonic OVA was announced in 1996(Japan).Sega thought that it would be a good idea to introduce a supersonic hedgehog to the cinema screens. According to the well-known Hollywood Reporter, the new Sonic the Hedgehog movie, produced by Paramount Pictures, will go to theaters around the world on November 15, 2019.
