That's annoying because I have a ton of PS2 games that I haven't played and would love to try.

(I also have a ton of ps2 games I never played and still have yet to get to....someday i'll take a crack at that particular stack of my backlog[I hope].)
Word of advice: The slim actually has the highest failure rate(of the PS2 types)......you should stick with the chunky yet more reliable "fat boy" if you ever decide to buy a new one.
(I'm also good at doing minor maintenance on the "fat boys"......I can usually clean the laser lenses, dust out the fans/heatsink/casing, etc with relative ease.)

The problem with Firefox is that it's an "open" browser, and as such it's gotten more and more bloated over the years. If you want a better browser you should try one of the FF offshoots or even Chromium.

"Give me a bit more time, I still think it runs a few seconds too long"
"Ah don't worry, no one's gonna notice anyway"
------
So our land-search saga has an update or two:
The listing agent talked to the developer and the dev says, 'no problem working from the home, so long as there's no customer traffic.' Sweet - customers NEVER come by the house. I told her we'll need that in writing if we make an offer; we'll see how that goes.
She also let us know about three other, much larger, lots that are available. They're all very close to yet another place we've looked at, but they are quite big for our needs: 12-21 acres. That's a lot of land to deal with. But damn, who doesn't want to walk out in the middle of 21 acres and proclaim, "I am Lord and Master of All I Survey!"
And so my bitch is this: Analysis Paralysis. "The price is good. Yeah, but we'd have to pay to put in a well. But the lots are a good size, just about perfect for us. Yeah, but that's still a lot of property to take care of. And it's out in the country like we want. Yeah, but it's about twice as far for her to drive to work. Well, the lots are flat and already cleared. Yeah, but you'll have to pay to put in some trees once the house is built. And the taxes are a bit lower. Yeah, that's because you have to install and maintain your own septic system."
And so it goes in my mind, over and over and over... I should just flip a coin and be done with it.

Curious riding conditions, by the way. It's -14° at the moment, but it was around -2° during the day and the sun was shining, creating truly bizarre conditions. I rode my bike to the city centre (not a long journey, a couple of minutes perhaps), during which time the front derailleur froze up and left me stuck on the biggest chainring. Parked the bike, chipped the ice off the derailleur, popped to a shop for five minutes and discovered the rear had frozen while I was away. Rode in the intense sunshine for fifteen seconds and it started working again. But hey, at least spring's coming.

Saturday night, alone and feeling lonely. Also, stuck in the bed because of the surgery.
It's what you get for isolating yourself and pushing people away from you. Don't deserve one bit of the love I receive. Ah, the bastard I've become.
