Does anybody know this game? And would it be good to have it here on GOG? Someone was praising it and I think all retail copies are long gone, I didn't find it on Steam either.

I played the Reloaded version which contains all updates. It was okay.

Yeah, it's a pretty neat game and it would be GREAT to have it here!

That being said though...the closest thing available is probably ATOM RPG. It's pretty similar except that the camera is not so close and it's more turn-based than The Fall.
You should check it out! ;)
Thanks :) I was browsing the wishlist section and there are so many games which came out around 2004 and nobody knows about them, so I guess this one is just one of those.

Yeah, IIRC the main problem with this game (and why it's so "unknown") was that it was only released in its native german and had no official translations. And soon after its release the dev went down under.
So that's why is so difficult to find. And AFAIK there were only a very limited retail copies available to begin with.
And it's a 13+ years old game.

So...yeah. At this point you'll probably have better chances at finding the proverbial needle in the haystack. LOL
It would be great having it here. It's inspired by Fallout, of course. It doesn't reach it's lofty goal of being another Fallout, but it is a good game which would fit the old GOG perfectly. But nowadays it's probably 'too niche'. ;-)
a pretty good game, indeed. with it's own charms and a quite interesting plot. I remember playing it a lot a while ago.
it'd be nice to have it here.

ADD: it had an official Russian version, BTW.

It's a great game, I'm not sure they ever finished the english version though. I've played the german one back in those days.

You can get it on Amazon from third party sellers (retail version, I mean).

The real question is: will you be able to run it on a modern PC?

Well, I mean - if you're still running Win 95, that question probably don't arises...

Although I never played the game itself (Couldn't find it to make the purchase) I do remember the trailer.

The trailer's music is not usually my favorite kind, but in this case it fits so perfectly that I loved it! ^_^

Here is a link to the game's Trailer, groove to that music!

After watching that, how can you not want to play it?

That would explain why I never ran across a boxed copy of it.

So long as it was translated into english I'd be interested in it.
(Sadly I don't possess the linguistic skills to enjoy it in the games native language.)

I remember looking for some info on it 7-8 years ago, and all I found was a fan-translation that google-translated the skill names and descriptions. It's unfortunate, since it really does look fun mechanically.
