Aniketos: Enjoy this classic, the entire Combat Mission x1 series is my favorite of all time. I'd suggest getting Barbarossa to Berlin and Afrika Korps if you don't have those already. All are fantastic games. Also, here are two sites with a plethora of user created maps. And trust me, these maps are great! (Most of them anyways lol.)
The Proving Grounds The Scenario Depot II And here is a solid CM community with many people who will give you a helping hand if you need it:
Game Squad: Combat Mission Sub-Forum I also sent you a PM =)
keeveek: Thank you again, man! That was totally unexpected! You make me think that I need to share with other GOGers with my birthday gifts and others. I am sure that I will give a game to someone here sooner or later!
And unfortunatelly, there is no place to buy Barbarossa to Berlin and Afrika Korps in my country... I wish they would come to GOG.com ... :-)
No problem! =D and yeah I've already gifted about... 3 including you. And here I was expecting not to purchase any games until the semester was over lol.
And well the CMx1 series is, like I said, one of my favorite series of all time so I try to spread the wealth as much as I can. And bummer. I hope GOG adds those two to the roster at some point because they are really worth it. Also look around Amazon.com if you have access to it. I bought CMBO and CMBB from it. Anyway, have fun!
-EDIT- And it's all on taste. When it came out it was a terrible release being incredibly buggy and leaving some things out that made the previous series very popular. Now everyone now says to get the NATO version since it has a better polish. And they just released Combat Mission Battle for Normandy demo which is supposed to the successor to Combat Mission Beyond Normandy.
