It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).

Wow...it looks so weird now.
Why have you done this ? It might look better on mobile but on PC it looks stupidly enormous, i mean, i'm not sitting 35 yards away from my computer, you know.

At 70/80% size it looks alright but then the other websites are unreadable.
Anybody else finds that strange ?
LOL, the epitome of first world problems... In time, the homepage is going to go back to how it was before... Don't worry.

That's ironic given the location he has.
He is right and the store doesn't work right depending on your window size or resolution.
I like it. I wish they'd get rid of the ugly grey on the subs.

Me too. I like the Lunar New Year theme. It's cute and all, but the colour scheme is really nice too.
I wouldn't mind if they kept the colour scheme after the sale ended.

As for the OP's complaint: I'm not seeing it really. page seems fine and usable to me on mobile and PC.
/shrug. One man's art is another man's ummm... something not arty?

I like it. The blue is a nice change. I'm also waiting on Barefoot Essentials 3 for Firefox.
Glanced at the frontpage. Not really impressed... I miss how it used to look.

Some people pick Zimbabwe for LOLs and it wouldn't be hard for the kind of person who would get triggered by such a problem to move to Zimbabwe. And even in Africa, there's your middle class, upper middle class, rich and wealthy people... And in some first world countries, there's people who can't afford to buy a PC and PC games... So I don't take someone's location, too seriously.

Biggest issues with the site still boil down to tackling community/user needs:

* Sort by release date
* Fixing genre tags
* Gog Mixes removal, a huge loss

Can't someone just create a separate website for custom Gog Mixes , like we have one for the Gog database ?

Of course they could, but let's be honest, it should not be on the users to create such things. The fact is, GOG is a minor holder of marketshare and thus needs to be trying to do more to stay in touch with their core users, while making tools/features that could attract others. Now, i fully understand this takes time, but in all honesty it's time worth spending, even more so over other things.

The current approach to their site functions and marketing is very dated. Relying on news letters and generic social posts was fine back in 2009, but isn't the way to grow. GoG mixes were a great asset to users who wanted to play something from yesteryear of a certain genre. Now they have to sit and scroll through pages of stuff.

A good deal of the games on GOG are niche, and to hide them in pages of games does little to help sales, exposure or even relationship between user and store.
I don't believe this...

The homepage finally WORKS properly for me!!!

Please keep whatever you guys just did. This is the first time in a year and a half that I am able to go to the homepage without more than half of it being "blank" space where games should be showing.
