Eli: LOL!

Well, obviously I can't possibly disagree, you bastard. Tugging on my heart strings, pandering to my deepest love and one of my greatest obsessions - shame on you! :-)

(Also, 1994 was a spectacular year for actors, but Gary Oldman should've at least been nominated for that performance! One of my favorites.)

But I'll tell you who cares: I do! I want to know! I want to know so that I can tell that punk-ass to "fight me in real life, bitch." But if you come to watch the fight, just remember to bring your goggles, 'cause blood and guts are gonna fly everywhere.
That's one of my all time favourite films, have lost count how many times I've watched it. Great performances by both Gary Oldman and Jean Reno. Gary Oldman is a criminally talented actor who's sadly underused, imho.
The international cut of "Leon" is WAYYYYYYYY better than the US cut of "The Professional"

Other superb Oldman performances that might be lesser known to some people:

Immortal Beloved (he plays Beethoven, and while not historically accurate, it's simply a creative look at his life and love with some excellent arrangements of his music.)

Chattahoochee

Murder in the First

The Contender

Prick Up Your Ears - A good true story film with a strong cast.

Track 29 - Surreal and disturbing film from director Nicolas Roeg (Don't Look Now).

Hey thanks! I'm always looking for movie recommendations. I have Track 29 but have not yet watched it, and I love Nicolas Roeg, he's one of the greats IMO!

Good deal, I hope you enjoy it! Nice to meet another person who appreciates Roeg. :D
