I have been searching the forum and there is about zero talk about this neat little tool over years, so I thought to create this topic gathering my fellow GOGer's various opinions on it, and their favorite shaders / most despised effects.

I did not use it for years until a few months ago starting with Final Fantasy IX's Moguri Mod, and now as soon as I have installed a game, I tend to start it once then exit to try and apply ReShade.

My usual shaders set is really small as I want an enhanced, but still "vanilla" experience. As for what I turn OFF if possible, I am totally not a fan of crappy (read, blurry) bilinear filtering, DoF & blinding Bloom...

For lighting enhancement, I chose Clarity.fx, it makes the scene stand out except on blacks and is really useful for confortable fonts reading, though It does change the color tone to be somewhat darker the image gains a great raise in details.

For sharpening I chose HighPassSharpen.fx, I found this shader giving the best results coupled with "clarity" while staying true to the original image, avoiding the infamous "watercolor painting" look of most others.

I keep only those two normally, not a fan of other effects that I find too "game changing" but maybe I am missing some nice ones that could contribute to truely enhance the visual experience...?

Tell me, tell us your picks, if you will my folks and why are they your favs or your foes? :)
I use Deband.fx and LumaSharpen.fx.

Deband really helps with visible sharp borders in the gradients, especially grey. Sort of blends it together so it looks much more smooth. Don't go too crazy though as it then starts to blend together things you don't want which results in pretty bad picture quality. The "low" preset is usually enough.

LumaSharpen makes everything look much more crisp. Just a slight amount of this improves the texture quality a lot. Works especially well against blurry textures. The default value is usually enough.

Thank you for your contribution, hmm I have yet to figure how to find the presets in Deband.fx, using it doesn't seem to change anything in my Reshade, same as a few others such as LiftGammaGain.fx.

Deband got recently updated I think. The presets appeared only recently. If you have some older version of Deband downloaded, they might not be there.
