Enebias: What makes Tangledeep so special?
I'm curious.

Edit: I'm really not a person for roguelikes/lites, but if you had to sell me this specific game what would you say?
*class/job choices
* rpg mechanics
* feats
* multiclassing
above is selling point for me

then there's three difficulty options, beautiful pixelated graphics (but truly beautiful, not lamey excuse for artstyle), multiple npcs, enourmous replaybility, numberous items and collectables, food/healing/stamina, job points for feats, stone of recall (nwn reference), or at least somethign that fuctions like stone of recall, pets who can help you in battle (with summons, pets are not summons) and treas to manage and unique dreams and nightmares to enter to enhance your weapons and items.

IT HAS IT ALL!!

It seems a fine game. Maybe I'll pick it up one day. Thanks! :)

Here's yesterday's Tangledeep recording. Sorry for bad quality, I have little influence about this.

I'm just huge fan.

I just bought this game, i'll get the soundtrack at some other point. Seems like a good mix with rpg elements.

doesn't the 2bit sound get annoying? I couldn't watch more than a minute of the combat because the sound just grates on my ears
Not really feeling the "awesome" on this one, sorry. Other than the barely discounted Cuphead there's not a single thing from my wishlist.

Not at all.
I found Tangledeep to be okay. Maybe I shouldn't have played it after Tales of Maj'Eyal (ToME4). It has nice graphics and multiclassing is interesting but I just think ToME4 did most things better. It's pretty good if you want something less complex and easier than ToME4 though - I suspect I'm just not the target demographic.
Tangledeep is on my WL, but roguelikes are really hit/miss for me. As much as I want to try it, I'mma have to hold out for a steeper discount.

Unless there's a demo somewhere.

Zombasite hadn't been on my radar, so interesting to see that. I enjoyed both Depths of Peril and Din's Curse, even if DoP felt a bit incomplete and DC spiked pretty high in difficulty if you were unlucky enough to have an attack wave coincide with being on a floor where you couldn't find the town portal.

Which seemed to be often. Loved the concept, though.
