From what I understand, it is skyrocketing up the sales charts. If anything it proves the demand for "good old games" in spades. Regardless, I do recommend it to all gamers to purchase who haven't already and who have the means. It is a stone cold classic.
I literally closed all my web pages and came running as soon as I saw it was for sale here. Agree 100%.
Indeed, hopefully this is a sign for more to come :)
Too many new threads on Diablo having come here... (for now)

indeed. this game needs bought!
Hopefully more sales will encourage Blizzard to release even more of their older classics here than just Warcraft 1&2.

Well compared to the neverending always returning Gog Connect Threads they are actually refreshing though ^^. And it was one of the most anticipated classic releases here

*has aged too much, that even older classics he would have bought at the drop of a hat when restored or available, no longer will do so*
Already voted and kicked some demon ass. ;)

I'm sure this has brought some new people to GOG as well, seeing as it's the first and only digital release of the game, and compatible with modern systems. If I thought it would bring Diablo 2 to GOG, I'd buy it full-price. Unfortunately with D2 already on battle.net, I'm not counting on it.

Sure. As soon as there is a complete package with the expansion pack and the soundtrack in extras.

One of (old) GoG's main policies and top wishlist entries, had always been: "bringing complete collections of a game". I own 2 retail copies of both Diablo 1 + Hellfire and 2 already; so, i need incentive, to be convinced. I don't like having one product in pieces (in this case, Diablo GOG and Hellfire retail) and as an old member, extras are also really important, to me.

I was also itching to get Doom 3, but BFG is censored and the originals won't make it. Unfair price package is really okay, i regularly bought games with normal price outside sales in the past, but failing to deliver complete packages and uncensored products, is a huge party-crasher/letdown. When you pay more, you need "convincing", in the form of "bells and whistles" and stuff. Value for money, to compensate. DRM-Free is the best thing, after all, but not the only factor. Abolishing 1, 2, 3 policies, okay; abolishing ALL of them minus DRM-Free, won't cut it!

Blizzard doesn't own Hellfire and often denies its existence. Good luck getting the expansion that they want you to forget.
