Let me state my case: I am a leftie Scandi whom worked in AZ US, and rather loved it.

And besides, I am just a gamer. And pro EU, as such.

But the TTIP leak by Greenpeace I commend, as I hate myself.

My take: "In Europe, gaming after market is not about meaningless "tick box* - if you impose an unfair deal, it will not stand. Oracle licence or game, we OWN software. We do not just BORROW it."

Post TTIP, I fear it would be Valve all over.

I frankly prefer Oracle defeat on EU courts.
I am very surprised there are no opinions!

My view is: if it were fine, public court system would do, no secrecy needed.

I hail France, as it stands. EU cohesion actually protecting us citizens, it seems.

Do you find forum search feature as useless as EU taxation, pray tell?

Maybe no one reply because of lack of comprehension in writings, methinketh

We agree on love of videogames at least.

I generally do.

And I also do not think I am so unkind to anyone on second hand bases. Why would you not be sort of nice? Since TTIP is pretty important, I'd be rather delighted for a number duplicate up to ... quite some, I think.

You check me there to tell what is the right amount. :-)

And TTIP - opinion?
Thx for replying thought, btw. Unkind or civil, I appreciate it. :-)

Quoting the God Emperor Trump "It's a terrbile deal".

This is the reason I am "unkind" to you. That whole whole mess of words right there, it's indecipherable. Like most of your posts. Bad english doesn't bother me, because if it did I'd be a hypocrite. What bothers me is that you used to write like a normal person once.

LIAR! You are from Finland, not from Scandinavia!

Next you'll be claiming you are a Baltic, and then from the Roman Empire.

Fennoscandia then if you wish to be technocratic, timmpu. I simply view Scandinavia as a cultural belonging. Have I mentioned our "universal education system" of late? (bit playful self irony, but substance over form)

LIAR!!! It is timppu, not timmpu. If you were a real Finn, you'd know that, but you are not. You are some kind of quasi(modo)-Finn living on the top of the Alps! Yodelidelodelido-dooo!

Get over it already timppu - this IS the Finnish way, misspells. But so is yours, I give you that! :-D

Or should I tell you that Quasimodo had a lovely character - so you flatter me there. But my handicrafts grade was normally seven, so my hiding tower awaits building, mountains and all.

Want to come and help? I trust your fish-lure was well graded, and that you had to craft that. Not that it helps with tower building - only we would have had universal education to boot!

:-p
As to TTIP - it is a serious matter.

With French breaking ranks, I really think it is good they are there, even if maybe raiding the lame horse of domestic unpopularity.

But as an example: I will never as EU-consumer go for "monthly fees" by EA by default - it is not clear when your monthly payments constitute ownership, and how these would be proportioned in case of consumer dispute before that point.

In the end I want to see TTIP having public court system at least. I trust EU consumer protection more than TTIP, perso
I just got a really disgusting spam from:

TicketFeeLitigation@tg

"Schlesinger v. Ticketmaster Class Action Settlement"

Within EU there is no class act, and in cases I am in for it - it would be lead by consumer associations. (Like the French one taking on Steam, and gog too, btw)

I do not recall seeing a strong anti-spam stance associated with TTIP. If corporations have a recourse, why not consumers whom hate likes of "TicketFeeLitigation" stealing their time, and trying for worse?

TTIP = class act against spammers, with prison sentence and maybe a fine.

I'd be fine with that. :-)
Proposed government policy, hehehehe

Let me tell you how it works.... any proposed government policy has fear mongers spouting all the worst case scenarios which of course never happen...... at least for a while anyhow, and then as time passes and everyone has forgotten about the issue, slowly slowly almost unnoticed, the policy will finally achieve all those worst case scenarios almost without exception!

A very good example in Australia, former prime minister Paul Keating sold the commonwealth bank and made various other changes to the banking system. Yes there were benefits but at the time there were predictions of all the negative results that Keating said would not happen... Then after time passes eventually every single negative thing that was predicted did happen, and now today, most ironically, Keatings own party is on the news calling for a royal commission into the problems with the banking industry!!!! But what is even more amazing is that everyone in this country seems to have completely forgotten what Keating did!!!!!!

Now i do understand the benefits of the changes may still outweigh the negatives, but the point is we all should realize those negative things are going to come, sooner or later they are going to come, Greenpeace is right, despite what lies politicians will tell you.
I hope it won't pass. It would give corporations way to much power.

blotunga: I hope it won't pass. It would give corporations way to much power.
I refuse to believe any governments would want to diminish the power of the people in any way and hand over more power to corporations, its just not at all plausible, never happens, oh and also peoples heads never explode from extreme sarcasm.... *BANG*

EDIT: news flash, ,,, worlds most sarcastic comment causes mans head to explode!
