Trying to play this game now and there is no launcher to adjust graphics as its really grainy and I need to adjust the scaling. Also the mouse is exceedinly sluggish.

How do I get into the config utility for this game?

Go into Start Menu, find the Ultima Underworld (GOG) folder, go into "Tools" then click "Graphic Mode Setup". Or if you're using Galaxy you can also bring it up by finding the game on Galaxy, then "More", then "Other", then "Graphic Mode Setup". Then you can mess around with different filters. It's the same for all DOSBox games.

You need to change the sensitivity to 200 in dosboxULTIMA1.conf
(it's 100).
It's most likely intentional, but weird, behavior of ultima underworld (this was determined after some debugging).
Setting the sensitivity to 200, should make it behave more to what you expect.


Unfortunately, if you have used the "Graphic Mode Setup" tool of GOG. The configuration file that you need to edit becomes more difficult to read.
So maybe search for 100 and replace it with 200.
