Nice find, but people should also be wary that some "patches" might cause other problems for some rare cases/users, and some of them also alter the games in some ways(they label fan changes in some cases as patches).

Strong warning from Opera, not to visit/open site so I didn't.

DarkXL/XLEngine stuff in there, just makes me sad since development stopped on that when one of the leads passed away.

RPG Codex isn't some malware site...it's likely a false positive.

I see what you are doing and this is harassment.

Even if it hadn't stopped, I honestly have to wonder if it would've been truly finished due to how ambitious it was for a project that no one was getting paid to work on. It would've been great to have an engine available to play some games with either no ports or existing ports that haven't been actively worked on in many years.

Don’t be dramatic...budumpa! (Opera drama? All right it’s early morning here, still warming up)
Anyways, site seems to be fine, no issues on other browsers. A lot of the list is available on moddb or various mod home pages. Some seem outdated.

The sad fact is that a good number of fan patchers/mods/etc are either: overly ambitious & they try for too much and burn out, have fallings out and split, get C&D letters to stop, or have small teams doing all the work and they also burn out or give up.

Few are the number of FINISHED projects compared to attempted ones.

Thanks for the link. Lots of interesting stuff. Especially the Gold Box mod looks interesting.

What? Why do you think that Lucius passed away?

I can't recall where it was I was reading someone mentioning that he'd died (I just spent five minutes in my browser history trying to dig it back up to make sure I wasn't seriously misinterpreting what was written given your own response here but I can't find it). If he's alive and well and just "gone again", then that's my mistake entirely.

Are the only things related to death it that I can find and they clearly talk about the project.

Klasodeth hasn't mentioned anything and in fact said that Lucius was doing well at the time of the source release (https://forums.dfworkshop.net/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=940#p11387).

Yeah, I saw those in my history, that's not what I was basing the death of the actual person around though. It was a forum post, I just can't seem to find the thread it was in. I hadn't seen that Daggerfall forum post until now though, so it's kind of a non-issue if someone who knows him personally is confirming him to be alive as of last year.
