My current gaming rig sits inside a wheeled desk I built, while compact still takes up a lot of space in a our small house.

So I got thinking tuck the case out of the way and just have the keyboard, mouse and monitor mounted on a lapboard and on long cables and move that around the room.

Would have thought there would have been an existing solution, but nothing.

Also difficult to get sensible monitors under 22"

But eventually found this

Just Use keyboard stickers to make the Keyboard UK.

What do you guys think?
Those stickers are not good in my experience. Why not ask Dell if they can get you a UK or US keyboard?

The RRP for this is over £1000, Replacement keyboard from Dell if they do them is going to be minimum of £100.

Server cart. :)

It's what we have on a cart in the datacenters. Monitor, keyboard and mouse on a cart and we wheel it around when we need to do reboots and maintenance.

Oooo Tech porn. Look at those Racks!

A "cart" is what I'm using now (see attached), I did make it the right size to hide in a unused cubby hole, which has now been used for other things. So it now sits in the side of the room, in the way.

What I'm thinking is new mini/micro mobo and case and have it under the sofa side table, with a long cord (power, usb and display all bound together) and just having the server console on my lap.

Strip off the rails, maybe mod the case a bit.
