99% of visual novels is more or less reading a book and pressing '
next' over and over again. Kinda the same gripe with walking simulator where you are pressing W most of the time; Then once in a while you'll get a choice/option.
While they might be well written, there's very little gameplay. Which is why I'm going to be very selective of the Visual novels i read. A number of '
Visual Novels' i see with the length of the game are anywhere from 10-60 hours. Some of them might have more branching in conversation, but not by much.
