https://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/warcraft_1_and_2_expansions has nearly 30,000 votes so it'd be awesome to complete, but it does mention "expansions" and I'm curious about these. How many expansions are there? I believe W1 doesn't have any, but W2 has "Beyond the Dark Portal" (developed by Cyberlore Studios and published by Blizzard, so good chance it can come here?) and maybe more (W!Zone, The Next 70 Levels, etc.?) If the others are too legally tough and unrealistic to get, could at least getting the BDP expansion be sufficient enough to consider marking the wish as "complete"? (Like, say we got W1 and Warcraft II: Battle.net Edition)
I would expect the Warcraft expansion to be released here along with the game.

I'd like it if warcraft 2 was the battle.net edition and still has support. Those MP games were fun with custom stuff. That came with the expansion so it's a 2 for 1 deal.

You had an answer in the other thread:
@Hikage1983
Short answer: yes.

You are correct, Warcraft 1 has no expansions while Warcraft 2 only has Beyond the Dark Portal.
I assume the version we will see here will be Warcraft 2: Battle.net edition which is pretty much the complete game with better multiplayer support.
I also think this is likely.

Good point, thanks. So I guess W!Zone and 350 Levels are "add-on packs" and not expansions?

Hopefully good. Beyond the Dark Portal has been on my to-do-list for far too long :P
It is pretty much a 100% done deal.

I have a physical box which contains a collection of older Blizzard titles (Blizzard Anthology for anyone interested).

It contains Diablo 1 (without expansion), Warcraft II (including the expansion) and Starcraft I (including the expansion). Even in this release, Blizzard distanced themselves from Hellfire for Diablo 1 but included all other expansions. And there is no reason that should change. All expansions for Blizzard games except Hellfire are considered canon and part of their respective universes. So Blizzard includes them.
