Yeah, well, mine sits just between a 2700x and a RX480 (right behind the x4 port), but I can't say I have noticed any slowdowns or high temps yet. Then again, I only use it for games like Satisfactory, Prey and Witcher 3 among others, it's more of a use and throwaway right now so if it decides to give up my saves are elsewhere (+ backup).

I found an article some time ago where they supposedly read 97C on one chip, but it sounded more like they also had a nifty GPU and bad airflow. Many cases doesn't even have proper setup for it. Anyway, I might have to test it further.
