Cyker: I'm guessing it was the famous Gravis Gamepad! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gravis_PC_GamePad

Probably one of the most common PC gamepads at the time due to them being rare for some reason; Most PC joystick peripherals back then were actual joysticks!

Ironic now that it's the other way round - Almost exclusively gamepads, with joysticks being mostly relegated to the high-end flightsim crowd!
YES!! Thank you!!
We had a joystick from that era that my dad maybe bought with his gateway win 95... In some ways it worked better than our USB logitech joystick.
The Logitech one had more buttons, but the cord broke very easily, whilst the old one had a 1/4 inch-thick cord.

tfishell: things be goofy for a time
Not sure if it is related or not, but I've had page loading problems lately which I eventually realized was due to GOG restructuring their website and using some new hostnames on new domains for static content. I had to allow scripts etc. on a few new hosts with NoScript et al. to get the site working smooth again.

I have also separately been getting some non-GOGbear 404 messages on and off for a few weeks, in particular when clicking on links in GOG emails that lead to 404.

Maybe some folks are playing too many video games instead of web coding? :)

Microfish_1: Would you please tell me of which 5 games you are speaking? Thank you.
The two Wolfenstein games, and the three Dishonored games.
Thank you!
