justanoldgamer: I just watched episode eight of the first season of Gotham, it was a below average Gotham episode but that made me appreciate what a great series it is. The weird thing is that the fact that I did not like how the episode ended made me love the series even more.
It's going to be very hard to no binge watch the rest of the season, I'm not even half way through it and I can't wait for the next one to be on Netflix.
My wife's been watching it from the time the first episode aired. It's funny, she says it's not that good, but she watches it every week, so I think she really must like it. I've seen episodes here and there and I can take it or leave it. Some interesting characters but I don't find it compelling enough to tune in and follow it faithfully.
*edit* Oh, and to keep on topic: I picked up season one of True Detective. Watched the first couple episodes and like it enough that I'll probably keep on with it. Not really a big tv fan, so I usually grab seasons of tv on disc to give them a go. If I don't like them I give them away. This one, as noted, seems pretty good though.
