It's almost as if Gog is deliberately making the [General] forum less useful …

It's likely something they tried implementing or fixing fkked something else up. The numbers that list games owned/etc when you click the username tab in the above black bar are all missing for me and others as well.

Yeah, I was being facetious. :)
Though the forum software is, by a long chalk, the worst interface I have ever encountered.

It's a pity, since so much expertise in the community is lost due to the inability to link it in a meaningful way with people searching for answers to common and uncommon questions.

edit: facetious is a difficult word to spell!

I kinda got that, but even if it's not intentional the results of the staff's "lack of enthusiasm" with regards to fixing the site is very apparent. ;|

And as to that word...yes, yes it is hard to spell without help or memorization. ;)

99% of GoG is inaccessible and unusable to me now.

Have had some issues since the update thismorning. The main website seems to be down and links take ages to work on the client, if they work at all.

More unforgiveable, a game I was playing just quit for no reason and failed to save :/

Did they pull the whole "use a standard/different browser" line when you contacted support? They did that with me and others, and many of us are/were using offshoots of chrome. :\

Keep in mind i'm using PaleMoon, which is equiv to Firefox 46. Very unlike the FF25 i was using just a few years ago when i complained and they push back in the harmless CSS data that was breaking things.

Right now the only thing the more or less works, is the /accounts section to access the games shelves, and the forums.

That is why I keep an alt browser for such situations, for when one doesn't handle something well.

And of course the account and library sections will work....they don't want to get sued/complained at due to people not being able to access their accounts & games.

As do i. But i don't like running around updating my browser and extensions all the time when the features really aren't needed. I don't see why they had to break everything the way they did.
