You do things, and then people acknowledge that you did those things with whatever opinion you have garnered from them. Literally how is this difficult to figure out?

Edit: I'm going on the assumption you misspelled "reputation".

I don't think it was misspelled.

I would interpret it as if someone as an example did/does bad stuff (knowingly?) and perhaps has a bad behaviour in general
He/she earn his/her repudiation in the eyes of others so noone will have anything to do with him/her.

You mean radiation?
That's some invisible stuff. You can't see it, you can't smell or touch it, but it is really there and it can make you sick and dead. It's not something I made up. It's everywhere, no matter where you hide or how far you run.
And "earned radiation" is when you work hard to get irradiated. Like in a nuclear plant or something.

Holy crap! Looking into this thread has really been worth it. I've learned:

1. A new word: "repudiate"
2. That you can actually still see your own reputation in "my settings".
3. That my rep is actually still pretty great (and nobody can take that away anymore, hurray)

If however a genuine misunderstanding has occurred, REP is short for Reputation and not Repudiate related.

Anyway, the web is your friend, when it comes to looking up the meaning of something.
