I rescued "The Judge's List", a John Grisham paperback, from a bus-stop trashcan today. There are too many modern-setting suspense thriller novels out there for me to read in a single lifetime; but this will be another book to trade at a little library for something more to my liking, whether it be sci-fi or fantasy.

Woke up to a beautiful sunny day.
It's warm outside, the birds are singing.
How could I not be happy about that?

The Sun could be too hot and the birds could have the singing talent of William Hung.

Finally stood up to someone and told them what I think after holding my thoughts in for the past few years. Felt refreshing :)

That I could log into GOG and open different pages in tabs, without getting shown the GOGbear over and over again.

Spent a wonderful weekend at my best friend's place. He prepared a delicious dinner for four on Saturday, including a chicken gong bao and a chinese eggplant-red pepper stirfry (the name of the dish escapes me at this time). The other guest brought some amazing wine and an almondy-pistachio mousse dessert that was to die for. We ate like kings! It was a lovely dinner with great conversation. :)

Some psycho had thrown out an over-sized (and closed) tray full of cupcakes and I gave them a nice home in my belly.

My best friend, who lives 5 to 7 hours away (depending on how fast one drives), surprised me by dropping by my place of work today! :) Happy for this very unexpected visit! Looking forward to spending this weekend with him.

For instance back in December 20th 2024 it was self-automated tram or rather bus that I've ever seen. And I didn't pay digitally so no drones or robots were not chasing me in Warsaw unlike in The X-Files despite my own fear/phobia of big cities. Like for instance someone pointed out in Hedonist Thread in GBATEMP Forum by quoting reinterpreting words of such person at least there are lots of restaurants right there in such places.

There was a successful TNR today using my porch. Two cats were trapped about an hour ago that were taken away by a TNR group that has spay/neuter appointment slots for tomorrow. The TNR group will release both at my property after they're recovered.
I'm so happy we got them both. No more having to get up extra early then stay up extra late trying to catch a couple of cats.
