There's a game on GOG that is graphical but also with text. It's first-person, and the character is on a ship I think (maybe a space ship), and moves around it and interfaces with computers by the player typing text. I don't remember what this game is called. Does anyone?

Actually no, I really don't think that's the one that I was thinking of. Good guess though. Does that have text interaction though? The one I'm thinking of doesn't have any other people on the ship (I think), but you just interact with the computers.

EDIT: this was intended about the post for Tacoma but I think it applies to both actually, because I don't think Consortium is the right game either, for similar reasons, and I don't think you ever get a weapon in the game I'm thinking about.

Go through Sci-fi and see if something comes to your mind.

Event[0] is really a nice game - if you're comfortable in that niche. It's rather short, but I played (and enjoyed it) and rode shotgun with friend who played it on my machine another night... and he got an entirely different ending although I was kind of "pushing him" in the direction I took.

Ugh, well I do hate when games have multiple different endings, because I want it to be linear so that I can do EVERYthing and not miss ANYthing.
